How to install the presets in Lightroom Classic CC

  1. Download and extract the zip file (actually you don’t have to unzip it if you don’t want to, you can just import the zip file)

  2. Open Adobe Lightroom Classic CC

  3. Go into your develop module (must import at least one photo into your catalog first)

  4. On the left hand panel, you should see the Presets panel. Click the plus (+) button and then, click "Import Presets..."

  5. Locate the folder you just downloaded, and highlight all 8 of the presets to import and click "Import".

How to install the presets in Lightroom CC or Lightroom Mobile

  1. Download and extract the zip file on your computer (in order to use them in the mobile application, you have to import then on the desktop version first. Then, the presets will sync to your mobile phone. Be sure to be signed into your Adobe account in both locations). (Note: as of February 2020, you can now import them directly on your Android phone - not yet on iOS)

  2. Open Adobe Lightroom CC

  3. Go into your edit module (must import at least one photo into your catalog first)

  4. Click “Presets” on the bottom right corner.

  5. Once the presets panel opens, click the three horizontal dots at the top of the panel. Then, click "Import Presets..."

  6. Locate the folder you just downloaded, and highlight all 8 of the presets to import and click "Import".

  7. Then, the presets will automatically sync with the mobile application.

How to use the presets

  1. First adjust your Exposure and white balance sliders.

  2. Then, click on the preset you would like to use to apply it. If you hover over the preset, you will see a preview of what it would look like before applying it.

  3. After applying a preset, you still may want to adjust the sliders afterwards to taste.

How to use the presets on mobile

  1. First adjust your Exposure and white balance sliders under the “Light” and “Color” tabs.

  2. Then, go to the “Presets” tab (third from last on the bottom panel.

  3. Select the preset group (“Purdue Photo Club Preset Pack #”)

  4. Then, click on the preset that you want to use. You can click through all the different options to preview the preset applied on your photo.

  5. Then, click the check mark in the top right corner to apply the preset.

  6. After applying a preset, you still may want to adjust the sliders afterwards to taste.
